Halloween & Fall Blog Hop

So glad to be joining you again on the Team Stamp It Blog Hop today.  You would have come from Rach the Stamper. I hope you are getting lots of inspiration along the way. My card today is about my favorite part of Fall - the changing leaves! I cut out several different leaves from the thinlits from the Falling Leaves bundle  - do you know you save 10% if you buy them together? I used Crushed Curry for the card base and edge piece, a layer of Mossy Meadow and two leaves stamped and then cut, as well as a Cherry Cobbler edge trim. Pumpkin Pie leaves and a leaf cut out of Thick Whisper White painted with Bright Copper Shimmer paint. I have a piece of Whisper White that was run through the Dynamic Impressions Corrugated Embossing Folder popped up on the Mossy Meadow.  I did wrap a piece of Cherry Cobbler twine from the Festive Farmhouse Twine trio before I attached.  The final steps were to add a few of the Mettalic Sequins and stamp my sentiments and leaves in Soft Suede and Pumpkin Pie on the inside of my card.

Corté varias hojas diferentes del thinlits del paquete Falling Leaves-¿sabes que ahorras un 10% si las compras juntas? Utilicé el Crushed Curry para la base de la tarjeta y la pieza del borde, una capa de Mossy Meadow y dos hojas estampadas y después cortadas, así como un adorno alegre del borde del Cherry Cobbler. Hojas de Pumpkin Pie y una hoja cortada de Thick Whisper White pintado con Shimmer Copper brillante pintura. Tengo un trozo de Whisper White que se ejecuta a través de las impresiones dinámicas Corrugated Cardboard embossing folder en la Mossy Meadown.  Envuelvo un trozo de Cherry Cobbler twine de la casa festiva twine Trio antes de que se adjunta.  Los pasos finales fueron añadir algunas de las lentejuelas Mettalicas y estampar mis sentimientos y Soft Suede y Pumpkin Pie en el interior de mi tarjeta.

Petal Promenade

Today card is very special since I received it from a new friend. I don’t know about you but for me it’s hard to make new friends outside of work. It seemed easier when the kids where in school and you automatically had lots in common with our moms. Linda is my new friend and we share a passion for Stampin Up- I can’t wait to meet her I real life in November. But in the meantime she sent me this amazing card made with Petal Promenade designer series paper and it made my day along with the fantastic Crafting Forever stamp set.

Hoy la tarjeta es muy especial desde que lo recibí de un nueva amiga. No sé tú, pero para mí es difícil hacer nuevos amigas fuera del trabajo. Parecía más fácil cuando los niños estaban en la escuela y que automáticamente tenía mucho en común con nuestras madres. Linda es mi nueva amiga y compartimos una pasión por Stampin Up, no puedo esperar para conocerla en persona en noviembre. Pero mientras tanto ella me envió esta tarjeta asombrosa hecha con el papel de Petal Promenade y hizo mi día junto con el juego fantástico de estampillas de Crafting Forever.

Wishing You Well

I'm back today to share a beautiful card using the Wishing You Well stamp set from the Holiday catalog. It has a beautiful distinktive stamp for the bow in Night of Navy paired with the Joyeux Noel DSP  makes this a beautiful card to share. I cut the front panel of my side fold Crumb Cake card in half and added a Very Vanilla mounted panel on Mossy Meadow with the stems in Early Espresso, flowers in Mossy Meadow and accented with Copper Shimmer paint applied to the stamp with a dauber.

Estoy hoy de regreso para compartir otra tarjeta usando el sello Wishing You Well, unos de los nuevos del catalogo de Fiestas. Tiene un laso bello en Night of Navy conjunto con los papeles de Joyeux Noel que tranforma esta tarjeta. Corte la parte delante de la tarjeta a la mitad de Crumb Cake y le anadi un panel de Very Vanilla montada en Mossy Meadow. Las flores estan estampada con Early Espresso, con flores de Mossy Meadow y tambien de Copper Shimmer paint que fue aplicado con un sponge dauber.

Merry & Bright

Back again with another card using the Dashing Along designer series paper which is the special this month.  Its a simple card but fun to put together. I used a Cherry Cobbler card base (4.25" x11" scored in half) with the fun Chicken Wire elements adhered directly to the base.  I used a 2" strip and a 2.5" strip of the Dashing Along paper on a diagonal and just cut the edges with my paper snips. I cut another piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Layering Ovals die  with stampin dimensionals and used a sentiment in Garden Green from the Merry Christmas to all.  The fun part was layering 3 of the Merry die cuts from the matching thinlits to lots of extra dimension. Added a double bow of Garden Green Baker's Twine to finish it off.

De nuevo estoy hoy con otra tarjeta con la serie de papel de diseñador Dashing Along que es el especial de este mes.  Es una tarjeta simple pero divertido para armar. Utilicé una base de la tarjeta del Cherry Cobbler (4,25 "X11" anotó por la mitad) con los elementos divertidos del alambre (Chicken Wire) adheridos directamente a la base.  Usé una tira de 2" y una franja de 2,5" del trazo a lo largo de papel en una diagonal y acaba de cortar los bordes con mis tijeras de papel. Corté otro trozo de Cherry Cobbler con los Stitched Shapes Ovals con los dimensionals de Stampin y utiliza un sentimiento en Garden Green de Merry Christmas a todos.  La parte divertida fue acodar 3 de los cortes Merry Die de la coincidencia thinlits que le da un montón de dimensión extra. Se ha añadido un doble arco de twine de Garden Green para terminarlo.

Country Home and Plaid

I don’t know about you but I love plaid! And all colors of plaid too! I was inspired by a card by Julie Pitta but I knew I had to add the plaid. I used the new Buffalo Plaid stamp with Blueberry Bushel ink and then took a ruler and the Black Stampin Write marker to add the additional line to pop up the plaid.  I took three of the images from Country Home stamp set and cut them out 1.5” square. I cut a piece of Basic Black and ran it through the Subtle impressions folder and heat embossed a sentiment with Versamark and white embossing powder. I popped the images with Stampin Dimensionals and finally a simple knot with the Braided Linen trim.

No sé sobre que pero me encanta Plaid! ¡ y todos los colores de Plaid también! Me inspiró una tarjeta de Julie Pitta pero sabía que tenía que añadir el Plaid. Usé el nuevo sello de Buffalo Plaid con tinta de Blueberry Bushel y luego tomó una regla y el Stampin Write marker en negro para añadir la línea adicional para aparecer el Plaid.  Saqué tres de las imágenes del set de sellos de Country Home y las corté 1,5" cuadrados. Corté un trozo de negro básico y corrió a través de la Subtle Impressions Embossing Folder y el calor en relieve un sentimiento con VERSAMARK y polvo de repujado blanco. Reventé las imágenes con Stampin Dimensionals y finalmente un simple nudo con el Braided Linen trim.

Fall is here

Well maybe not technically, but I love Fall in the Midwest. Although the weather still says summer, once the kids are back in school I start think about all the things I love in the Fall - sweaters, colored leaves, pumpkins and apples. 

Bueno, tal vez no técnicamente, pero me encanta el otono en mi parte del pais. Aunque el clima todavía dice verano, una vez que los niños están de vuelta en la escuela empiezo a pensar en todas las cosas que me encantan en el otoño-suéteres, cuando las hojas cambian de color, calabazas y manzanas. 

Today I have a card to share that totally reminds me of fall - with the vintage copper patina, milk jug and dried flowers. I LOVE this set and was so inspired by the Tin Tile texture folder and the Country Lane stamp set.  (You can see my other card I made with this set here).

Hoy tengo una tarjeta para compartir que me recuerda totalmente a otoño-con la pátina de cobre vintage, jarra de leche y flores secas. Me encanta este conjunto y estaba tan inspirado en la carpeta de textura de Tin Tile y el conjunto de sellos Country Lane.  (puedes ver mi otra tarjeta que hice con este juego aquí).

Here I used Bermuda Bay card base and Bermuda Bay cut at 4" x 5.25", inked up the embossing folder with versamark and then embossed with copper embossing powder.  I then stamped on very vanilla the milk jug and the dried flowers with versamark and also embossed in copper. I added some pop dots and linen thread wrapped twice around.  I stacked 2 "Happy" dies cuts to add some dimension.

Aquí he utilizado la base de Bermuda Bay cortado en 4 "x 5,25", entintado el folder de embossing con VERSAMARK y luego repujado con cobre en relieve en polvo.  Luego estampade en Very Vainilla la jarra de leche y las flores secas con VERSAMARK y también en relieve en cobre. He añadido algunos puntos de pop y hilo de lino vuelto dos veces por ahí.  He apilado 2 cortes "Happy" para añadir una dimensión.

Happy Monday! I'm here to share another fun Halloween card using some of the newest goodies in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  This card features the beautiful Toil & Trouble Suite with the Toil and Trouble designer series paper and the Cauldron Bubble stamp and die set.

The weather has finally cooled off here in Chicago (well at least for a few days) so I’ve started to think about Fall – and the first thing that comes to mind is Halloween! I know that there are many Halloween fans out there (you just have to walk through any store starting now) and I wanted to start giving some ideas and tell you about a special Paper Pumpkin that is coming this month.
