Easter Blog Hop

Hello and happy Saturday! Welcome if you have come from Linda Cullen's blog - I hope you have been enjoying the Hop so far and getting lots of  inspiration for your Easter and spring cards. If this is your first stop then make sure to check out the other fantastic ladies in our group - you will be blown away by their projects! While I used Happy Easter from the Word Wishes die set (retiring)  - you definitely change it to Happy Birthday or Thinking of You and use this same design on many other types of cards!

This card has a band that holds the fun fold. Instead of 8 1/2” x 11” you cut down a 12” x 12”   You cut a 5 1/2” x 11” piece of Highland Heather from the Subtles pack. Score  at 2", 5", and 9". Create a band of Gorgeous Grape that is 1 1/2" wide and 8 1/2" long. Score at 2" and 6 1/8" - score and fold and glue only where they overlap.

Die cut the Hydrangea from Thick Basic White and sponge with Gorgeous Grape. Use your Take a Pick Tool to raise the petals of the Hydrangeas. Die cut the Happy Easter 2 times and layer together using the Fine Tip Glue. Die Cut the stems and leaves from Mossy Meadow.

Finally add 2" x 5" piece of DSP (Mossy Meadow Plaid), 1 1/2" x 5" Mercury Glass DSP and finally a 1 1/4" x 4 3/4" layered on top of a 1 1/2" x 5" piece of Gorgeous Grape. Decorate with the Pastel Pearls.

Now make sure to follow along the rest of the hop to get even more inspiration!. Make sure to leave a comment on each post with #stampitcontest for a chance to win this month's prize!

Congratulations to last month's winner Frances Freeberg!
