Thanks for joining us this month for Christmas in July! So many cute projects you will see this month. I chose to highlight the new Designer Series paper that is an on-line exclusive with a simple card style. These would be great to get a head start on all your Christmas cards. You can use the giant hoarde of Christmas papers you have hiding in your bins (or is that just me???). The center square is 2" x 2" and the strips are 3/4" each. Such an easy card to replicate!

Father's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to today's blog hop celebrating all the important men in our lives - Dads, Grandfathers, Brothers, Brother-in-laws and all those who support us in our lives! I just loved this Friendly Fins stamp and die set. You can create a whole underwater scene with the stamps and dies which was so much fun!! To make it even more fun I used the Mini Alphabet dies to personalize the inside of the card. Eventhough mine says Dad, its really my hubby's card - he totally loves all things Sharks! There are so many great card samples you'll see on the hop today...

Use Balmy Blue and Summer Splash and a large blending brush, I created a deeper and watery background. I also used a lot of Wink of Stella to add sparkle to all the elements to make it even more shimmery. I created added depth by stacking 3 seperate coral reefs together. The Mini Alphabet dies are a great way to personalize any card!
