Today I wanted to play with the new Butterfly Bouquet Suite. This is a special purchase that will also be available in the new Annual Catalog coming in May. Stampin Up has changed up how the catalogs are released and this will be the biggest change. But what hasn’t changed is how beautiful stamps, papers and dies can make a beautiful card!
I took a 1/4 sheet of Bumblebee and layered a 8” x 5” cardbase of Pool Party, scored at 4”. I took two squares 2 3/4” of the fantastic DSP and scored on the diagonal. These were adhered directly to the Bumblebee and the Pool Party was layered on top. I took several of the intricate butterfly dies to emboss the front of the Pool Party layer using the Impression Mats from the Annual Catalog or a sheet of fun foam from your local craft store.
Add a little Wink of Stella to really make them pop!
Die cutting all the beautiful butterflies is easy with the large single die, or the intricate individual butterflies.
Look at this gorgeous paper - its just one of the patterns that you can find in the 6" x 6" DSP paper pack.
