Welcome to today's blog hop - celebrating Father's Day and all the amazing men in our lives! I fell in love with the new Waterfront Retreat Suite in the new Mid-Year catalog - Have you seen it all?? The beautiful DSP really helps set the mood for this card. I have lots of men in my real life - hubby, 2 sons, lots of brothers and brother-in-laws...so I am always in need of masculine birthday cards!

I did some monochrome stamping (same color ink on matching paper) for the chair, book and cup allows for a wonderful focal point image for my card. Another trick is using the 12x12 two-tone cardstock to allow for the "masculine" flip-flops - you automatically get 2 colors of cardstock. I am really enjoying this option on my cards.
