Another Holiday Sneak Peak

My favorite time of year to make cards is Christmas and the Fall  - so I’m already going to love everything…but Stampin' Up has really done an incredible job with so many fabulous options.  There are bundles, kits, lots of embellishments and lots of amazing pattern papers! I got lots of goodies as a Pre-order (one of the great advantages of being a demonstrator!) so I will continue to share many examples to give you inspiration!

Mi época favorita del año para hacer tarjetas es la Navidad y el Otono-así que ya me va a encantar todo... pero Stampin  Up hasta ha hecho un trabajo increíble con tantas opciones fabulosas.  Hay paquetes, kits, un montón de adornos y un montón de papeles de patrón increíble! Today I am sharing a fall card since I also love the fall! The leaves changing on the trees have such beautiful colors in the Midwest! I was inspired by the colors of the leaves to make this card with the new Buffalo Plaid background stamp, Painted Harvest stamp set and Jars of Love to make this sweet card for a friend.

Hoy estoy compartiendo una carta de otoño ya que también me encanta esta epoca! Las hojas que cambian en los árboles tienen colores tan hermosos en esta region del pais! Me inspiraron los colores de las hojas para hacer esta tarjeta con el nuevo sello de fondo de Buffalo Plaid, pintado conjunto de sellos de Painted Harvest y Jars of Love para hacer esta tarjeta dulce para un amigo.

Take a half sheet of thick very vanilla folded in half, a 4”x 5.25” piece of early espresso with a 3.5” x 4” piece of Crushed Curry stamped Buffalo Plaid on Very Vanilla. I stamped the jar and stems from Jars of Love and the leaves from Painted Harvest in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. I stamped the Flower in Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze with the center stamped in Crushed Curry and then embossed the seeds in copper with Versamark.  I did a little fussy cutting for both the flower and the jar.  I added a sentiment on Very Vanilla and added a layer of Early Espresso cut with Tailored Tag punch. A few stampin dimensionals and linen twine and the card is done!

Toma una media hoja de Very Vanilla doblado por la mitad, un 4 "x 5,25" pedazo de Early Espresso con un 3,5 "x 4" pieza de Crushed Curry con estampado de Buffalo Plaid en Very Vanilla. Fall Theme Blog Hop

It’s been so much fun getting to play with all the new products in the Holiday catalog – one of the best parts of becoming a demonstrator!

Today we are sharing some fun fall projects on everyone’s blogs. I love the new stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog and the beautiful patterned paper and embellishment and…well you get the picture.  I love everything! One of the first suites that jumped out at me was Farmhouse Christmas.  Although I live in the city – I love all things vintage and farmhouse (think Magnolia Market and Chip & Joanna Gaines).  I love the beautiful patterns in the designer series paper but with my busy schedule I try to find simple cards with big impact.

Hoy estamos compartiendo algunos proyectos de otoño divertidos en los blogs de todos. Me encantan los nuevos sellos en el catálogo de Navidad y los papeles estampado y los adornos y... bueno, ya se pueden imaginar.  ¡Me encanta todo! Una de las primeras Suites que me saltó fue Farmhouse Christmas.  A pesar de que vivo en la ciudad-me encantan todas las cosas vintage y de granja (imagina el estilo de Magnolia Market y Chip y Joanna Gaines).  Me encantan los hermosos dibujos en el papel de la DSP pero con mi agenda apretada trato de encontrar tarjetas sencillas con gran impacto.

Here I layered the shiplap style paper from the Festive Farmhouse DSP (147820) cut at 4” x 5.25” over a Crumb Cake cardstock base. Then I stamped the Woodgrain background stamp in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut down to 1.25”. I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White. I cut one of the beautiful enamelware jug and dried flower arrangements from the DSP and popped it up on stampin dimensionals.  I then used markers to stamp each color separately - Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Blackberry Bliss are the colors found in this image that I cut.  The final touch is creating a bow with long tails to make it look like a hanger and a gold metallic pearl that looks like a nail head.

Aquí he estratificado el papel de estilo shiplap de Festive Farmhouse (147820) corte a 4 "x 5,25" sobre una cartulina base. Entonces me selló el sello de fondo viruta en el espresso temprano en el pastel de migas cartulina y reducir a 1,25”. He sellado el sentimiento en susurro blanco. Santa's Workshop - another sneak peak!

Hola! Back with another card today.  Here is another card made with new goodies that will be available next week (September 5^th ) in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.  There is a whole suite of these adorable Christmas graphics called Santa’s Workshop.  It has Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and elves in a stamp set, with matching dies and you can get those at a 10% discount if you order the bundle.  And since it’s a suite there is matching dsp paper and other goodies – 2 different kinds of ribbon, different color enamel shapes and red rhinestones.

Hola! De vuelta con otra tarjeta hoy.  Aquí hay otra tarjeta hecha con nuevas novedades que estarán disponibles la próxima semana (5 de septiembre) en el catálogo de Stampin Up
del día de fiesta.  Hay toda una suite de estos adorables gráficos navideños llamado taller de Santa Claus.  Tiene Santa Claus, la Señora Claus y los elfos en un conjunto de sellos, con los dados que emparejan y usted puede conseguir ésos en un descuento del 10% si usted pide el paquete.  Y como es una suite hay papel de DSP que empareja y otras Goodies-2 diversas clases de cinta, diversas formas del esmalte del color y rhinestones rojos.

One of the things I loved most about this suite is the Memories and More card pack! There are over 50 3”x4” and 4”x6” cards that can be used for quick and easy cards for the holidays. There is even a pack of Santa’s Workshop Memories and More Poppy Parade cards and notecards pack which means there is no cutting (if you want it that simple!!) – I definitely will be getting a pack of these for quick last minute cards.  As I mentioned before – I do send out a lot of cards during the holidays so if I can make some of them a bit easier but cute – that’s a total win for me!!

Una de las cosas que más me encantó de esta suite es los Memories & More  paquete de tarjetas! Tienen  más de 50 tarjetas de 3 "x4" y 4 "x 6" que se pueden utilizar para tarjetas rápidas y fáciles para las vacaciones. Incluso hay un paquete de recuerdos de taller de Santa Claus y más tarjetas de desfile de amapola y notecards Pack, lo que significa que no hay corte (si lo quieres tan simple!)-definitivamente voy a conseguir un paquete de estos para tarjetas rápidas de último minuto.  Como mencioné antes – yo envío un montón de tarjetas durante las vacaciones, así que si puedo hacer algunos de ellos un poco más fácil, pero lindo-que es una victoria total para mí!

For my card today – I chose to go simple, but still would be welcome on anyone’s mantle during the holidays! I also choose one of glittered cards from the kit, popped it up with some stampin dimensionals, added 1 sticker from the card pack, 2 of the enamel shapes and 3 metallic pearls for the holly. I love how it turned out!! I can’t wait to show you more from the holiday catalog  - just a few more days to wait!  One of the great advantages of being a demonstrator is being able to order early all the new products (where I definitely took advantage!)

Para mi tarjeta de hoy – elegí para ir simple, pero aún así sería bienvenido en el manto de cualquiera durante las navidades! También elijo una de las cartas relucientes del kit, la escogí con algunos dimensionales estampados, añadí 1 pegatina del paquete de cartas, 2 de las formas de esmalte y 3 perlas metálicas para el acebo. ¡ me encanta cómo resultó! No puedo esperar para mostrar más del catálogo de Navidad -sólo unos pocos días más para esperar!  Una de las grandes ventajas de ser un demostrador es poder ordenar temprano todos los nuevos productos (donde definitivamente aproveché!)

Blissful Blooms - Paper Pumpkin

Hope your week is going well – I know its only Tuesday but you have to be positive right?? We have had a wonderful summer – hot and not too rainy. My tomatoes and vegetable garden having been loving it! I have an easy card today – its from this month’s Paper Pumpkin called Blooming Love. It is a gorgeous kit with watercolored flowers and heartfelt sentiments. I have been a Paper Pumpkin subscriber for almost a year now (well before I became a demonstrator) and its one of my favorite Stampin Up products.  This month we were given enough supplies to make 10 cards , labels, stamp set, flirty flamingo & silver twine with silver edge envelopes – so elegant! I followed the directions (for the most part) but I always make some small adjustments along the way.

Espero que su semana va bien-sé que su único martes, pero usted tiene que ser positivo, ¿verdad? Hemos tenido un verano maravilloso – caliente y no demasiado lluvioso. Mis tomates y vegetales lo estan amando! Tengo una tarjeta fácil hoy-es de este mes de Paper Pumpkin  llamado Blissful Blooms. Es un kit magnífico con las flores acuareladas y los sentimientos sinceros. He sido un suscriptor de Paper Pumpkin por casi un año ahora (mucho antes de que me convertí en un demostrador) y es uno de mis productos favoritos de estampación.  Este mes nos dieron suficientes provisiones para hacer 10 tarjetas, etiquetas, Set de sellos, coqueta flamenco & cinta de plata con sobres de plata bordado-tan elegante! Seguí las indicaciones (en su mayor parte) pero siempre hago algunos pequeños ajustes en el camino.

All I had to do was stamp the two sentiments on the silver tags, add the vellum flowers directly to the back of the tag, add the twine and pop up the tag on stampin dimensionals which are included in the kit. In fact, everything you need to use is included in the kit – including a stamping block in your first month, a different color ink spot every month and all the adhesive and dimensionals you need for the project. There are some very versatile sentiments in this kit – including a very nice sympathy sentiment.

Todo lo que tenía que hacer era estampar los dos sentimientos en las etiquetas de plata, añadir las flores de vellum directamente a la parte posterior de la etiqueta, añadir la cinta y pop-up la etiqueta en los stampin dimensionales que se incluyen en el kit. Back today with another card - both with a new Holiday Catalog preview and a preview of a special new designer series paper.  The Dashing Deer has three Deer images and some heartfelt holiday greetings. There are matching thinlits to cut out all those deer – and you save 10% if you buy the bundle! Holiday Catalog preview - Country Home

I have a new card to share with you today that is from the new 2018 Holiday Catalog. One of the best parts of becoming a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator was the ability to order early from the Holiday Catalog.  Holiday cards are ALWAYS my favorite…for some reason I just never have enough Holiday stamp and die sets.  Since its still early in the holiday card making season, I am going to start with one of my favorite fall sets from the new catalog. The Country Lane suite comes with lots of amazing add ons. Not only is there a beautiful stamp set (Country Home), but there is also an amazing embossing folder (Tin Tile Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder) that looks like an embossed tin ceiling.  This reminds me of an antique general store that you can find in so many little towns throughout the US. I inked up the flat side of the embossing folder (the side with Stampin’ Up is printed) with Mossy Meadow to add a little more antique look. There is also new Galvanized Metallic paper which I used for the embossing folder – I love this so much I know I will be playing around to find other combinations that will look good.

Tengo un new tarjeta para compartir con usted hoy que es del nuevo catálogo Navideños 2018. Una de las mejores partes de convertirse en un demostrador de Stampin Up es tener la capacidad de ordenar temprano de este catálogo!.  Las tarjetas de navidad y otoño son siempre es mi favorito... por alguna razón nunca tengo suficientes sellos de esta época.  Desde ser todavía temprano en la temporada de hacer tarjetas de Navidad, voy a empezar con uno de mis sets favoritos de otoño del nuevo catálogo. El Suite Country Lane viene con un montón de increíbles Add Ons. No sólo hay un sistema hermoso de la estampilla (Country Home), pero hay también una carpeta de grabación en relieve asombrosa (Tin Tile Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder) que parece un techo realzado de lata.  Esto me recuerda a una tienda de antigüedades general que se puede encontrar en muchos pueblos pequeños a través de los Estados Unidos. Entintado encima del lado plano de la carpeta embossing (el lado con la marca de Stampin Up) con Mossy Meadow para agregar un poco más mirada antigua. I also stamped the milk can and fall floral arrangement in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Very Vanilla  from the Country Home stamp set and cut it out by hand – it only takes a minute and makes such a difference.  I took an aqua brush and added a bit of crumb cake on the milk can. I tied a piece of Very Vanilla bakers twine around the top of the can and mounted on pop dots. I cut the 2^nd largest circle from the Cicles Die set and adhered a piece of the Country Lane Designers Series paper directly on the card base behind the circle to add more color. The greeting is also from the Country Home stamp set and I cut the flag end.  I used a sponge dauber to ink up just the word “grateful” in Mossy Meadow, with the rest is inked in Crumb Cake. Three metallic silver pearls and you are all done!

También sellé la lata de leche antigua y el arreglo de otoño en tinta de Momento Black sobre la cartulina very vainilla del sello Country Home y lo corte a mano – sólo toma un minuto y hace tal diferencia.  Tomé un Aqua Brush y añadió un poco de tinta Crumb Cake sobre la lata. Até un trozo de very vainilla bakers twine alrededor de la parte superior de la lata y montado en pop dots. Corté el 2^Nd el círculo más grande del Cicles muere el sistema y adhirió un pedazo del papel de la serie de los diseñadores del carril del país directamente en la base de la tarjeta detrás del círculo para agregar más color. Healing Hugs for a Friend

I’m back after celebrating my birthday week (of course once you get to a certain age you get to celebrate more!) with a new quick card. It is a very simple card but with lots of WOW because of the beautiful paper. I am using the Garden Impressions designer series paper and the Healing Hugs stamp.  It’s the one of Stampin Up’s Distinktive stamps – its very detailed image that you get by just stamping once.

Estoy de vuelta después de celebrar mi semana de cumpleaños (por supuesto, una vez que llegue a una cierta edad se llega a celebrar más!) con una nueva tarjeta rápida. Es una tarjeta muy simple pero con un montón de WOW debido a la hermosa papel. Estoy utilizando Garden Impressions de la serie de papel y el sello .  Es uno de los sellos distinktive de Stampin Up – su imagen muy detallada que se obtiene con sólo estampar una vez.

I used a Whisper White side folding 4.25” x 11” card, folded at 5.5” and layered a piece of the Watercolor Garden DSP.  What I love about this paper is not only the super bright and fun “front” side of the 6”x6” papers but also wonderful backgrounds that are on the back side of the same papers. I cut this at 4” x 5.25”.

For the center image I cut a piece at 3”X4” and stamped the flower from Healing Hugs in Melon Mambo. I also stamped it on a post it note and fussy cut it to create a mask.  I placed the mask over the top of my image (after it was dry of course!) and then stamped the leaf from the same stamp set in Old Olive.  It allows the leaf to appear under the rose for a unique look! I then just stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy over the rose.  I popped the panel with stamping dimensionals and added just a few silver pearls. What a pretty card to share with a friend who might be under the weather.

Utilicé un pedazo de Whisper White  4,25 "x 11"para la tarjeta, doblado en 5,5 "y acodado un pedazo de la Watercolor Garden DSP.  Lo que me encanta de este papel no es sólo el Super brillante y divertido "frente" lado de los 6 "x6" papeles, sino también maravillosos fondos que están en la parte posterior de los mismos papeles. Corté esto a 4 "x 5,25".

Para la imagen central corté un pedazo en 3 "x4" y sellé la flor de los Healing Hugs en el Mambo del melón. También lo sellé en un post it note y lo corte para crear una máscara.  Puse la máscara sobre la parte superior de mi imagen (después de que estaba seco, por supuesto!) y luego estampado la hoja del mismo conjunto de sellos en Old Olive.  ¡ permite que la hoja aparezca debajo de la rosa para una mirada única! Entonces acabo de estampar el sentimiento en el Night of Navy ink en negro sobre la rosa.  Eleve el panel con los Stampin Dimensionals y agregó sólo unas pocas perlas de plata. Qué bonita tarjeta para compartir con un amigo que podría estar bajo el clima.
