Fall Fun Blog Hop

As much as I love summer as soon as the calendar turns to September I am excited for Fall to start! I love the cool crisp air with lots of sunshine and the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. Inspired by a wonderful swap I received from Cindy Pietrowski and my new favorite fall stamp set - I wanted to incorporate the beautiful Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze color that is featured in the Come to Gather DSP.

The DSP is a 3" circle cut from the wood grain. Stamp the wheat images with Cajun Craze on the Cajun Craze 1 1/2" which was run through the Subtles 3D embossing folder mounted on a 1 5/8" Pretty Peacock. Stamp the largest stamp on Sahara Sand with Early Espresso.  Cut using the matching die. I cut 2 additional leaves in Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake from the dies which cut and emboss.  Slightly sprintz the paper with water and it gives you the darker areas on each leaf.  White heat emboss the sentiment on a 1/2" strip of Cajun Craze. Final touch is to tie 2 pieces of twine together into a bow - Cajun Craze and Linen Thread.

Go through the entire hop and comment on all the participant's blogs with #stampitcontest for a chance to win this great card kit - you get lots of new ideas of Fall and Halloween cards.
