Modern Halloween

How about a modern twist to a Halloween card? And you can use this design for many occasions. How are you getting ready for the big scary night?

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

·         STAMPS – Tags Tags Tags Bundle (153042)

·         PAPER – Smoky Slate Cardstock (131202), Basic Black Cardstock (121045), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Pumpkin Pie Cardstock (105117)

·         INK – Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad (147086)

·         OTHER – Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon (147897), Layering Circles Dies (141705), Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder (150665), Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Die Cutting Machine

           

Cutting & Scoring: 

·         Smoky Slate Cardstock - 11” x 4 ¼”, score and fold at 5 ½”

·         Whisper White Cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼”     

·         Basic Black Cardstock – scraps

·         Pumpkin Pie Cardstock - scraps

·         Smoky Slate Cardstock - scraps

·         Whisper White Cardstock - 2” x 3”

           

Instructions:

·         Stamp your image in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Whisper White small rectangular piece of cardstock.

·         Die cut out using your Trio of Tags dies from your Tags Tags Tags Bundle.

·         Using the three smallest dies in the Layering Circles dies, die cut out circles using your Basic Black, Smoky Slate, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock scraps.

·         Layer these circles onto your larger Whisper White cardstock piece.

·         Dry emboss this layer using your Stylish Scroll embossing folder.

·         Cut a piece of ribbon about 6” long.  Slide it through your top most and bottom most holes on your stamped tag.

·         Use a Dimensional to attach your tag to your dry embossed layer and secure your ribbon tales to the back side of this layer, then adhere to your Smoky Slate card base.

·         Finish with a bow tied from same ribbon and use a Mini Glue Dot to attach it to your card.
