Mothers Day Blog Hop

Welcome to today's blog hop - celebrating Mother's Day and all the amazing women in our lives! I fell in love with the new Lily of the Valley set in the upcoming catalog - I can't wait for you all to see it. While the focal point flowers look fancy they were very easy to make with very simple coloring on Basic White die cuts.

I used Pecan Pie Blends on the stems and a squiggle of Pretty Peacock and Lemon Lime Twist on each little buttercup flower. The leaves were cut from Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green. These are some of the colors featured in the gorgeous DSP that is featured in the Valley in Bloom DSP.

I also created the background with the new 3D Embossing Folder - Floral Spray. I used the 12" x 12" Coastal Cabana I stamped the sentiment and cut the labels from Sweet Words & Labels Dies that coordinate with the new Silly Old Bear online exclusives set - just wait till you see how beautiful this suite is! I'll be posting some cards soon that I have been playing with all the different elements.
