New Years Eve Blog Hop

So glad you’ve joined us today to gather some inspiration for New Year’s cards and projects. I honestly haven’t made New Year’s cards before but I love the idea of a fresh start at this time of year- you know all those resolutions that we all feel compelled to make... What’s your resolution for 2019? Or do you make resolutions and set goals as you are inspired? I know I set a goal in the middle of 2018 to join Stampin Up to become a demonstrator and to share my talents with friends both new and old... if you do like to make resolutions at the beginning of the year maybe 2019 is the year that you join Stampin Up?- whether to join as a hobbyist for the discount or a creative outlet or as a business... Me alegra que Uds hayan unidos a nosotros hoy para reunir algo de inspiración para las tarjetas y proyectos de año nuevo. Honestamente no he hecho las tarjetas de año nuevo antes, pero me encanta la idea de un comienzo fresco en esta época del año-usted sabe todas esas resoluciones que todos nos sentimos obligados a hacer... ¿Cuál es su resolución para 2019? ¿O haces resoluciones y estableces objetivos a medida que te inspiren? Sé que yo establecí un objetivo en el medio de 2018 para unirse a Stampin Up hasta convertirse en un demostrador y para compartir mis talentos con amigos tanto nuevos y viejos... Si te gusta hacer resoluciones a principios de año tal vez 2019 es el año que se unen con Stampin Up?-si a unirse como un aficionado para el descuento o un outlet creativo o como un negocio... Now onto our card- this one has a big wow factor but not difficult to create! Take a piece of basic black at 4”x5.25” and emboss the new Birthday Statements stamp set ( in the new Occasions catalog available January 3rd) with silver embossing powder after stamping with Versamark. Also take a strip of vellum 2.5” x 8.5” and emboss in gold embossing ink the sentiment from Warm Hearted along with a few sparkles on either side. Make sure to pre-heat your heat gun especially for the vellum. Also heat on both the top and bottom of the vellum to eliminate warping. Take your Wink of Stella pen to fill in the open areas on the black cardstock- it looks extra special! Wrap the vellum around the card front and pop the panel with Stampin dimensionals. Finally take the Fine Tip blue pen and add sequins scattered all over the card. I like to group them in 3’s but there is no wrong way to put these on! I really love to use the Take a Pick tool’s Putty end to make this super easy!!  I love the mix of gold, silver and copper to make this extra sparkly.  

Ahora en nuestra tarjeta-este tiene un gran factor de WOW pero no es difícil de crear! Toma un trozo de Basic Black a 4 "x 5.25" y realza el nuevo sello de Birthday Statements ( #148612, en el nuevo catálogo de ocasiones disponible el 3 de enero) con polvo de relieve de plata después de estampar con versamark. También tome una tira de vellum 2,5 "x 8,5" y realza en la tinta de oro que realza el sentimiento Warm Hearted junto con algunas chispas en cada lado. Asegúrese de pre-calentar su pistola de calor especialmente para el vellum. También calentar en la parte superior e inferior del vellum para eliminar la deformación. Tome su Wink de Stella pluma para llenar las áreas abiertas en la cartulina negro-parece extra especial! Envuelva el vellum alrededor del frente de la tarjeta y pop el panel con los Stampin dimensionals en un tarjeta de 4,25” x 11” doblada a 5,5”. Finalmente tomar el Fine Tip glue pen y añadir lentejuelas esparcidas por toda la tarjeta. Me gusta agruparlos en 3 ' s pero no hay una manera equivocada de poner estos! Realmente me encanta usar el final de masilla de Take a Pick tool para hacer esto súper fácil!!  Me encanta la mezcla de oro, plata y cobre para hacer este extra brillante.
