Thanks for joining today on the New Year's Blog hop. I have a little something different for you today! In many cultures and especially in many Spanish speaking cultures - Christmas is not the main holiday that's celebrated at the end of the year. In fact, in many places it the Three Wise Men are the ones that bring gifts to the well behaved boys & girls, just as they brought presents to the Baby Jesus in the Nativity story.
As a side note: I am sure you've heard the funny story about what 3 women would bring to the Manger instead of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh..... but I digress...
I love this stamp and die set from Stampin' Up and I feel like I haven't gotten to use it nearly enough!
First up a card really shows how just a small pop of color really can step up your card (and some Wink of Stella!). I love the textured piece of black embossed with the Painted Texture embossing folder. An extra liberal helping of Wink of Stella make the Star of Bethlehem really stand out.
The next example goes over the top with all the gold embossing, gold shimmer ribbon and the Expressions in Ink specialty DSP. This is fantastic swap card received from Diane Lethbridge
Whatever your traditions - I hope everyone has a happy and healthy Holiday Season and here's to way more stampin' together and in-person for 2022!!
