Welcome to April's Blog! So glad to see you here today for lots of inspiration! I have 2 different cards to share with you today that uses the same stamp set - Jar of Flowers plus some easy coloring with Stampin' Blends to make Mother's Day cards for those special ladies in your life! Plus I'll include a sampling of specific Mother's Day Sentiments you can add or use in place of the sentiments I've included.
First this lovely card with a spotlight which uses the circle punches (retiring) but can also be created with the Layering Circles dies
This card uses the Jar of Flowers punch - and can be used to celebrate all the wonderful women in our lives! Its especially nice for us to acknowledge how our terrific friends have made it through this last crazy, crazy year!!

Dressed to Impress

Basic White Card Base - 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
·
Basic White #2 Stitched Rectangle – 3 3/8” x 4 ¾ “
·
Basic White scrap for dog
Instructions:
·
Stamp dog image on scrap Basic White with Memento Black. Color
with the Cinnamon Cider Blends. Fussy cut with snips
·
Stamp dog prints all the way around the card base edge with
Memento Black
·
Stamp balloons on the Basic White Rectangle. NOTE: Use the dog you
cut out as a reference on where to stamp the balloons. Extend balloon strings
with the Black Stampin Write marker.

Color balloons with the Daffodil, Magenta and Pumpkin Pie blends.
Use the color lifter to add the balloon reflection highlights. Add Wink Of
Stella
·
With cut out dog as a reference (not attached yet), Stamp greeting
in black and add grass with Just Jade blends.

Attached cut out dog with dimensionals with feet so they appear to
be on the grass you drew.
