Dashing Along - Another Holiday Catalog preview

Back today with another card - both with a new Holiday Catalog preview and a preview of a special new designer series paper.  The Dashing Deer has three Deer images and some heartfelt holiday greetings. There are matching thinlits to cut out all those deer – and you save 10% if you buy the bundle! Dashing Along DSP is a special starting September 1st – its free if you host a $250 workshop, catalog party or just shop off your wish list! The colors are traditional Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Whisper White – I love this color combination for all my holiday projects! These papers will make your holiday cardmaking easy and fun – and there are 4 sheets of each pattern which will make making multiples of the same card easy. Best Route Card

Hi there! I am back to share another simple card today. I have been loving getting back into regular card making – I know that I love to receive homemade cards and my friends and family always are so appreciative when they receive them! Since I work full time out of house I have a big stash of cards at work so that I am always ready to give one of my co-workers a card or to send one off in the mail (when I didn’t check my calendar early enough..) I also keep a stack of envelopes (I usually make only A2 sized cards) and postage in my office.

¡Hola! Estoy de vuelta para compartir otra tarjeta simple hoy. He estado amando volver a la fabricación de tarjetas regulares-sé que me encanta recibir tarjetas hecho a mano y mis amigos y familia siempre son tan agradecidos cuando los reciben! Puesto que trabajo a tiempo completo fuera de la casa tengo un alijo grande de tarjetas en el trabajo de modo que yo esté siempre listo para dar a uno de mis colegas una tarjeta o para enviar uno en el correo (cuando no revisaba mi calendario suficientemente temprano..) También guardo un montón de sobres (normalmente hago sólo las tarjetas de tamaño a2) y las estampillas en mi oficina.

Today I am using the Best Route Memories and More card pack.  These packs of cards (there are several options in the catalog) are great for quick masculine cards.  I only needed 3 items for this card – but I really love how it turned out.  I need lots of masculine cards in my life – I work with Engineers and have lots of brother in laws, nephews etc…

There are cards sized 3”x4” and 4”x6” as well as 4 sticker sheets which are great to use for card greetings I used the Tailored Tag Punch with a number of the 3”x4” cards to make this design.  You can add a stamped sentiment, or I used 2 of the stickers from the sticker sheet on top of the solid Pineapple Punch cardstock  with stampin dimensionals for my greeting.

Exciting News and a Few Changes!

So I know this poor blog has been sadly neglected for the last few months. Holly and I have been busy with this thing called life, family and work. But is not all bad of course- we both had wonderful family trips that we just came back from... Holly travelled West to the wonderful National Parks of South Dakota and Yellowstone with amazing geysers, waterfalls and wildlife while I took my clan east across the pond to the ancient civilizations in Italy filled with history, art and food! You’ll see lots of amazing travel pages coming soon mixed in with our normal Project Life pocket spreads and some special projects along the way like December Daily.

What you’ll also be seeing is more cards and paper crafts. After a big break from paper crafting - I’m jumping back in with 2 feet!!  I’ve decided to become a demonstrator with Stampin Up. I’ve always loved making and sending hand made cards and I love how the products of Stampin Up coordinate (it makes my architect self super happy!)

Look for lots of great content especially as we look forward to fall and the holidays- there will be lots of sharing and inspiration along the way. And one more exciting twist is that I will be sharing my work in English and Spanish. I have lots of family and friends that are bi-lingual and I want them to be able to follow along on this crazy ride!
