Thanksgiving Blog Hop

Hello everyone – I am so glad you are here enjoying this blog hop.  If you came here from Tami’s blog – I am so glad you are here! We have a lot of inspiration to share with you today.  We are sharing cards that are perfect to share as a message of Thanksgiving.  My friends and I love to send cards anytime, but there is something special about sharing our feelings of gratitude at Thanksgiving!


Saludos a todos – me alegro mucho de que estés aquí disfrutando de este blog hop.  Si viniste desde el blog de Tami – estoy muy contenta de que estés aquí! Tenemos mucha inspiración para compartir con ustedes hoy.  Estamos compartiendo cartas que son perfectas para compartir como un mensaje de acción de gracias.  A mi y mis amigos nos encanta enviar tarjetas en cualquier momento, pero hay algo especial acerca de compartir nuestros sentimientos de gratitud en la epoca de Thanksgiving!

Today I am sharing a message of gratitude using a mixture of old (in the Annual Catalog) and new products (special order for November).  I created a side folding 5.5” x 8.25” card, scored and 4.25” of Crumb Cake. I used the Woodgrain Background stamp to stamp the base and then I stamped again on a second piece of 4.25”x5.5” Crumb Cake cardstock. I used my trimmer to cut along the natural lines created by the stamp to create the faux barn door look.  You could add even more dimension if you added Stampin Dimensionals under the cross pieces.

Hoy estoy compartiendo un mensaje de gratitud utilizando una mezcla de productos viejos (en el catálogo anual) y nuevos productos (pedido especial para noviembre).  Creé un lado plegable 5,5 " x 8,25" tarjeta, anotó y 4,25 " de Crumb Cake. Utilicé el sello Woodgrain para sellar la base y luego estampado de nuevo en una segunda pieza de 4.25 "x 5.5" de la misma cartulina. Utilicé mi cortadora para cortar a lo largo de las líneas naturales creadas por el sello para crear la mirada de la puerta del granero del faux.  Se podría añadir aún más dimensión si se agregan los dimensionales debajo de las piezas cruzadas.

I then took some great fall colored cardstock of Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Mellow Moss to create a flower wreath using the Snowfall Thinlits.  These dies are great because they not only make great snowflakes (including some beautiful large ones…stayed tuned for those) but also have dies that work well for all seasons.  After I cut a bunch of “flower” images I glued some and mounted some with mini dimensionals (I love these for those really tight spaces!) with a few pearls and the beautiful braided linen twine from the Holiday Catalog.  I stamped the sentiment on very vanilla and mounted on Cherry Cobbler – both cut with the Layering Ovals dies. The Snowfall Thinlits are special for November and they will be come one of your favorites!

Entonces tomé cartulina de Rich Regals de Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry y Mellow Moss para crear una guirnalda de flores con la Thinlits de Snowfall.  Estos dados son grandes porque no sólo hacen grandes snowflakes (incluyendo algunos hermosos grandes... permaneció sintonizado para aquellos) pero también tienen dados que funcionan bien para todas las estaciones.  Después de cortar un montón de "flores" imágenes que pegado algunos y montado algunos con mini dimensionales (me encantan estos para espacios realmente apretados!) con unas cuantas perlas y el braided linen trim precioso del catálogo de Fiestas.  Sellé el sentimiento en Very Vanilla y montado en el Cherry Cobbler-ambos cortados con los óvalos acodados mueren. Crafting Forever

So Santa

Sometimes for the holidays you just want to send someone a quick note! And to make it cute is even better... this new set from the Holiday catalog So Santa has some non traditional and fun images. What I love about this card is the vellum

with Falling Softly embossing folder. It adds such great texture. This card also uses the Santa’s Workshop designer series paper that has flocking and glitter and is colored with the Stampin Write markers. Don’t forget about the great markers that match all of Stampin Ups colors.

Lo que me encanta de esta tarjeta es el vellum con la carpeta de Softly Falling embossing folder. Añade una textura tan grande. Esta tarjeta también utiliza el papel de Santa’s Workshop que tiene congregación y brillo y se colorea con los marcadores de Stampin Write . World Card Making Day

Happy World Cardmaking day (or week as the case may be) ... Stampin Up is celebrating with a sale on select stamp sets.  I don't know about you but nothing brightens my day like getting a homemade cards.  I have been sharing lots of examples - and you will see more this week.

Halloween & Fall Blog Hop

So glad to be joining you again on the Team Stamp It Blog Hop today.  You would have come from Rach the Stamper. I hope you are getting lots of inspiration along the way. My card today is about my favorite part of Fall - the changing leaves! I cut out several different leaves from the thinlits from the Falling Leaves bundle  - do you know you save 10% if you buy them together? I used Crushed Curry for the card base and edge piece, a layer of Mossy Meadow and two leaves stamped and then cut, as well as a Cherry Cobbler edge trim. Pumpkin Pie leaves and a leaf cut out of Thick Whisper White painted with Bright Copper Shimmer paint. I have a piece of Whisper White that was run through the Dynamic Impressions Corrugated Embossing Folder popped up on the Mossy Meadow.  I did wrap a piece of Cherry Cobbler twine from the Festive Farmhouse Twine trio before I attached.  The final steps were to add a few of the Mettalic Sequins and stamp my sentiments and leaves in Soft Suede and Pumpkin Pie on the inside of my card.

Petal Promenade

Today card is very special since I received it from a new friend. I don’t know about you but for me it’s hard to make new friends outside of work. It seemed easier when the kids where in school and you automatically had lots in common with our moms. Linda is my new friend and we share a passion for Stampin Up- I can’t wait to meet her I real life in November. But in the meantime she sent me this amazing card made with Petal Promenade designer series paper and it made my day along with the fantastic Crafting Forever stamp set.

Hoy la tarjeta es muy especial desde que lo recibí de un nueva amiga. No sé tú, pero para mí es difícil hacer nuevos amigas fuera del trabajo. Parecía más fácil cuando los niños estaban en la escuela y que automáticamente tenía mucho en común con nuestras madres. Linda es mi nueva amiga y compartimos una pasión por Stampin Up, no puedo esperar para conocerla en persona en noviembre.
