Father's Day Blog Hop

So glad you could join me today for our Father's Day blog hop.  I hope you have been enjoying all the projects on Team Stamp It's hop today.  Make sure to read to the end of my blog post for a chance to win some fun goodies.

Today I will be focusing on the Clubhouse Stamp set, dies and the fun Country Club designer series paper. The set is fun to color very simply and add a punched sentiment - and you have a great card paired with the DSP. I have lots of examples to share so lets get started.  Remember if you like these cards, stamps or paper - don't wait to order.  All the Club House products will be retiring before the new catalog releases so order before Wednesday June 3rd!

The first card above, focuses on the Country Club DSP and some simple coloring of the golfer.  The Tailored Tag punch works great with these masculine themed  papers.

Next, we will work with the great Argyle 3D embossing folder - it goes well with the grey DSP pattern and water color pencils are used to color the golfer and the golf ball on the inside of card.  I also used the twine, unwind it  for the frayed edges.

Add a little shimmery crystal effects to the golf ball to add a 3D effects to the inside of the card.

Our next example is a fun fold easel card.  It's quite simple, but adds a great "wow" to your card.  This card also uses water color pencils and there is a die in the Club House suite which cuts and embosses the golf ball - so cool!

Our next card focuses on dies to add a pop of "wow"! The Stitched Nested dies - can be cut to make a shorter die - the joint is covered with the smaller Stitiched So Sweetly dies and the label from the Club House bundle.  Cutting the golf clubs in the Silver Foil adds a nice touch of bling to the front of the card!

Speaking of using the DSP in a different way - I love how this paper can be colored with Stampin' Blends or Watercolor pencils and used as your main image.

Our final card highlights the DSP - by cutting elements directly from the DSP (golf cart) to match the stamped Happy Father's Day.  The 3D Argyle folder really adds a nice touch to the card and is simple to do.

Cards inspired by Kaitlin Holmes, Terri Brumagim and Cheryl Egbert
